New Client Functionality

Easier quarantine management, and a new MX strategy.

As part of Heluna's ongoing commitment to making sure that our clients have the best antispam solution possible, we have introduced two new pieces of functionality for our clients.

First, for clients who have their quarantine turned on, a new way to browse the quarantined messages. The quarantine list can be sorted by message date (the default), or by sender e-mail address (if you're looking for one particular sender), or finally by "Spam Likelihood".

This sorting option allows you to view the least-likely spam messages (that is to say, those which are more likely to be clean messages) first. If any messages have inadvertently shown up in your quarantine, they should show up early on in the list, allowing you to approve that sender or re-send that message.

The second piece of new functionality is the addition of two more MX records. These MX records are described in a Heluna blog post and are designed to reduce the amount of incoming spam attempts to your domain.

We encourage our clients to change their MX records to the following:

reject1.heluna.com
mail.heluna.com
mailb.heluna.com
reject2.heluna.com

As always, if there are any questions or comments, please feel free to contact support and we'll be happy to assist.
