Changes to Client Quarantines
Easier to navigate, with extremely-bad-spam messages not to be shown.
In preparation for deploying a domain-wide quarantine for our clients, we're instituting a small enhancement to client quarantines. Messages that are marked as "definitely spam" are now being sub-classified into two separate (invisible) buckets. Messages placed into the first bucket are still definitely spam, and will be quarantined as normal. Messages blaced into the second bucket are now treated the same as virus-laden messages, and are immediately dropped. These messages in the second bucket are the worst of the worst of spam messages; having to wade through them inside a quarantine is only a waste of time for our clients, and so we're choosing to remove them completely. This change should have an immediate impact on how many messages show up inside client quarantines, and should make browsing the quarantines much easier and faster.
